Here are some programs that I pray will be useful to the ministry of fellow preachers and sister churches.   They are different applications, but they all have one thing in common....they are totally free.  However, many of them will accept financial donations and I recommend that you do that if you find a program to be useful.  If you have any questions, or additions, please contact me.

Here you can download the KJV Bible, Strong's Concordance, many commentaries, etc.  This program is a powerful program that I have found to be more useful than some of the expensive alternatives that are available.

Online Bible
This program may be more familiar to some who have been around for a few years.  The King James Bible is available, many commentaries, several full-length books, and even some GREAT homeschooling resources available.

This program is what I use to record my audio sermons, edit them, and then save them as MP3 files.  (Note: You will also need the LAME MP3 Encoder in order to export your recordings as MP3 files.
Mozilla Firefox Web Browser
If you are still using Internet Explorer, make this page the last one you visit with that program!  Firefox is so much has better security, uses tabbed browsing, and is completely compatible with any webpage you frequent! Oh, and it isn't made by Microsoft!  :-)

Mozilla Thunderbird
This is a great email application that supports IMAP and POP mail accounts.  It is fully functional and I recommend it for all my email users.

This is a great tool for editing HTML files, as well as uploading them to the site.  It is very similar to NVU.

HTML Calendar Generator
Very nice program to allow you to set up a calendar on your site.  I use it here on, but I first saw it being used at Main Street Baptist Church's site.

Filezilla FTP
This program is an excellent FTP program.  Great for uploading files onto your ftp server.

OFFICE PROGRAMS is from Sun Microsystems.  Like Microsoft Office, you can create word documents, spreadsheets, presentations, etc.  Unlike Microsoft Office, this program won't cost you an arm and a leg.  PLUS it won't take up a ton of space on your hard drive!  Did I mention that it isn't Microsoft?  :-)
Avast Antivirus
I have been using this program for quite a while.   Why pay for Norton Antivirus, McAfee, or any of those other expensive programs when this one is free?   I have personally found this one to be just as good (if not better) than the others.

Mozy Online Backup
Here is a cool little program that allows you to backup your files onto an online server.  The 2GB version is free, which is more than enough for most users!

Most of these programs are also available as programs that you can place on a USB Flash Drive or a portable hard drive to use on any computer system.  You can download these at
